This trick actually works! If you're like me you probably price match your produce at Walmart. It's a nice program, it saves me so much at the register. My only problem is the produce isn't as fresh as I would like. My bananas never last more than a day. But then I found this handy trick. Have you tried it?
Simply wrap the ends of your banana bunch with plastic wrap. That's it! I don't know the science-y part about it. It keeps something-something from releasing, LOL. But it works! My bananas last several days longer. Where do you like to get your produce?
