Fry's: Stocking Up Before the Policy Change

Once again I ran to the store around 10:30 pm trying to avoid the lines. Not that I mind waiting in line, I just understand not many people mind waiting behind me and my crazy stack of coupons :) It's something I'm becoming known for. My cashier even greeted me with, "Hello my coupon friend!" <--- loved it :)

Last night was a good example. Being so close to Christmas, there was a good size line even at 11:20 pm. I grabbed what seemed like a great deal on chicken, but when I got to the register, I found out it was marked wrong (yikes!). It took almost 15 minutes to get it all straitened out and get my coupons scanned (thank you cashier Samatha, you're the greatest!). Even though it was easy to tell that the night shift was shorthanded (and great workers!), the people behind me still made a big to-do about it. I learned something valuable: there's no perfect solution to appease the majority when it comes to saving at the grocery store. BUT it's totally worth for yourself and your family! All you can do is your best and be respectful while doing it.

A little reminder, if you're going to do some of these deals, the advertised prices are only good through today. I'm guessing we won't get a new ad until Wednesday, so there's no guarantees on prices for the weekend. Also, that coupon policy will change on Wednesday (12/29), so if you have time before your holiday plans you may want to consider getting in one last big shopping trip to use that Fresh and Easy coupon!
