Is the 55 or older discount based on the member's card or do you have to ask for the discount? Let me explain...a while back I stopped in for just a few items. (Some of which with coupons of course) and the machine wouldn't take my coupons. I used my grandparents frequent shopper card as I always do (we share) and I was given the 10% off discount. So I'm wondering if the discount is based on the shopper card or did the cashier type in the discount by accident when she was trying to get my coupon to go through? Hey Jackie. I sent a message to Fry's, but haven't heard anything. If you're still interested, maybe try talking with the customer service desk at your local store (that's where I have the most luck w/ these kinds of questions).
